8th International Workshop on Piezoelectric MEMS

We are pleased to announce that PizeoMEMS Workshop will be held at Todaiji Cultural Center, Nara, Japan from June 7th to 9th, 2021.
Due to the unpredictability of the situation of COVID19 all over the world, the organizing committee decided to hold it in the form of a HYBRID workshop, which allows either on-site or on-line participation. Participants with no travel restrictions are expected to participate in Nara, while others will participate online.

The workshop will be continued with the successful previous meetings, held at Aachen in 2010, followed by Lausanne in 1996, Washington DC in 2013, Kobe in 2014, Grenoble in 2016, and Orlando in 2018, Lausanne in 2019. We hope its single-session format provides good opportunity for interaction between attendees, presenters and exhibitors.

The major areas of interest include, but are not limited to:

• Synthesis and fabrication of piezoelectric films
• Characterization of piezoelectric thin films
• MEMS applications of piezoelectric materials
